About TheBioHackingHub.com

Hi there, my name is Sarah Owens, founder of The Biohacking Hub. I wanted to give you a brief background on what we (and I) are all about.

I first want to give you background on what it means to be a biohacker. Biohacking is basically the art of hacking your biology in order to get a result – specifically peak performance. There are literally thousands of ways to “hack” yourself for better results mentally, physically and spiritually. This can be done through nutrition, food, supplements, extreme temperatures, exercise, breathing techniques, meditation and more. Some of the most famous biohackers are Dave Asprey, Ben Greenfield, Jack Kruse and Mark Hyman.

This website has been created to bring experts to you that are passionate and in LOVE with the art of hacking our biology. We will bring you information, tools, interviews and other amazing things daily to help you to hack yourself to peak performance.

What The Biohacking Hub is NOT about

The Biohacking Hub is not a place to go on egotistical rants or to denounce other experts in the field. If someone is promoting something that we feel is contrary to our beliefs then we will address it using science and the proper messaging. We will never berate others and we will ALWAYS respect others. There is room for everyone. We are all biologically unique and some things may work better for others, it is important to share from our own experience.

Biohacking is about taking in information and experimenting and trying things out, it’s about becoming an expert on YOU.

Why we biohack and our core values

Everyone has different reasons for biohacking but I believe it boils down to some common core values. I personally strive for peak performance ultimately so I can be of better service to others. Because when I feel crappy then I treat others like crap.

When I have tons of energy and feel great then I can serve others at a higher level and impact the world in a more effective way. I believe that is what biohacking is ultimately about – making the world a better place for us all, starting with ourselves.

Our main values at the biohacking hub are:

  • Respect – treating others with respect, always.
  • Service to others – becoming a peak performer allows us to serve others and become a more compassionate human being.
  • Being inclusive – this community is about including everyone in the biohacking community. It doesn’t matter if you are a hardcore biohacker or brand stanking new. We will not alienate others with big $10 words and scientific jargon meant to make others feel inferior and “dumb.” There is a place for everyone in this community as long as they come from a place of openness and a willingness to learn.
  • Having fun!  – Biohacking is not only about peak performance but also about having fun and enjoying life to the fullest. If you are too rigid about your diet or anything else in your life then you will ultimately fail. This is why I can’t stand the science trolls and the ego maniacs in the biohacking world. We do not need to be perfect to be effective biohackers. We all have our daily lives and things that get in the way.

Biohacking is absolutely about peak performance and feeling good and part of that is letting loose and enjoying the moment. Not beating ourselves up every time we mess up.

Throughout this website you will find people that I have hand selected that represent the values of this site. These are experts in the field that practice what they preach and are truly knowledgeable and are passionate about what they do. Together we will provide information, tools, and services that can jumpstart your life and make you feel amazing so you can help make the world a better place too.

There are too many unhappy, sick people in this world. Many of the problems we see in this world stem from how we treat each other and how we treat the world around us.

By working on yourself you are literally working to make the world a better place while making your life awesome.

Welcome to The Biohacking Hub, I’m so excited to have you here. If you’d like to learn more about my story you can check out my site personal site here.
